Lianna Bennett Haidar, Psy.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist located in the heart of Alexandria. As a therapist she works with clients to heal past traumas, reduce the experiences of depression and anxiety, and improve the quality of the relationships in their lives.

As a Catholic therapist, Dr. Haidar utilizes a variety of treatment approaches, particularly those focused on healing trauma and understanding the impact that the past has on our experiences today. She strongly believes in the collaborative relationship between the client and therapist.

Faith

For some clients, faith is an important part of their lives. As a therapist Dr. Haidar seeks to meet each client wherever they are in their faith walk. Some clients simply want a therapist who they know has a compassionate understanding of their world view. Others want their faith to be explicitly incorporated into their therapy.
