Dr. Lianna Bennett Haidar grew up in the Northern Virginia area. She attended the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC for undergrad and Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA where she obtained a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Haidar completed her pre-doctoral internship at Catholic Social Services in Lincoln, Nebraska. She has also taught as an associate professor for Divine Mercy University.

While Dr. Haidar has worked with clients from all walks of life— from the incarcerated to rural farmers, her training and experience have particularly been focused on the integration of the Catholic-Christian faith and psychotherapy.  

Dr. Haidar lives in Alexandria with her husband and son. They are parishioners at the Basilica of St. Mary in Old Town.

Dr. Haidar’s parents, Art and Laraine Bennett, are the authors of numerous Catholic bestselling books including: The Temperament God Gave You, The Temperament God Gave Your KidsThe Emotions God Gave You, and A Year of Grace.
